June 2008: Cross-District Student Mobility

The Providence Plan analyzed how often students moved from one school district to another (cross-district mobility) during the 2007-08 school year to inform the recommendations of the Rhode Island Urban Education Task Force. These fact sheets for Rhode Island’s five core cities show the prevalence of student movement across districts, within districts, and into and out of the Rhode Island public school system.
